First off I love this place for many reasons. Walking distance to a metro, Eisenhower st is not as busy as other streets and a great back road for getting around Alexandria, easy access to the beltway, nice neighbors, management has always treated me nicely and served quickly, the handy men are great as well, no decal for parking and gated community, very dog friendly!!!!... all very nice!
Down sides: you are literally along the blue line track between king street and van dorn, also next to the Alexandria Metro yard which is also noisy (if you live on the west side or pool side of the complex), everyone seems to have at least 1 dog here.. including myself. Is the poop a problem' not really most people pick it up but you will find the occational problem owner. The price is also semi unreasonable. My roommate and I are renewing our lease in Janurary and the rent went up about $175 a month... kinda steep seeing housing prices are leveling out. But because of everything else we are resigning the lease.. no point in moving when I like everyone that lives around me and I have finally adjusted to the noise.
Final thoughts: if you want metro accessable for less than Ballston prices.. This place works great! If you're social.. you'll meet people here, good mix of people, not overloaded with families but not a bunch of 20 somethings either. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S

the price is more than semi-unreasonable for the cheapness of the apartments themselves. the appliances are cheap, the walls are thin and the windows are drafty
