We've had a pleasant experience and good quality of life living at Avalon at Cameron Court. The entire management staff made our transition from Texas to the DC area extremely pleasant and tolerable. Everyone gave us such a warm welcome and never fails to offer information about the area. Their kindness, friendliness, and cooperative spirit are genuine and never short of supply.
The management and maintenance staff are prompt and very helpful. The community activities for tenants are fun and welcoming.
We rent a two bedroom apartment with a loft on the 4th floor, and love it! We opted to rent a garage, which is why the rent is a little higher. It's well worth it though for the added space, and you are guaranteed a spot to park on those rare occassion when other spots are taken. Rent is fair and reasonable, for this area. Coming from Texas, it seemed outrages, but that's par for the east coast in general.
We live on the side farther away from the Metro yard. Rarely hear train noise. Occasionally we hear a faint train whistle, but it's comforting rather than annoying. Neighbors are great.
Great acces to King Street and the Regan National Airport. How many people can be at the airport in less than 10 - 15 minutes, by train or car' Never heard of or experienced any criminal activity around here. Secure and well-lit to walk. Police substance down the street on Eisenhower.
