Yes it's true. The "Gated community" has its gates wide open the majority of the day. Cars come in and out as they please as there is no way to differentiate a tenant from a visitor. From time to time the gates are broken and anyone can come in. Also the parking lots not infront of houses are dark. Can make you a little paranoid.

This place is pricey for a 1 bedroom. I pay 1,570 for 1 bed 1 bath. My lease renewal will be 1,615 or so. And a month to month rent would be 1800 for 1 bed 1 bath. A town home with 3 beds and 2 or so baths will run roughly 1800. With a garage and a drive way.

Also beware of the lease buyout. Lease buyout is generally 1 months rent and 30 days notice. This place charges 2 months rent and 30 days notice...Do the math. If you sign the lease stick it out. Other than this management was very nice.

I have all the standard complaints about the apartment such as the neighbor upstairs is a heavy walker, annoying looud noises from the stairs outside, etc.

I've never had a problem with parking. However, during the snow days they were very slow to plow the parking lot. I had to miss work because of it. Not good.
