As with everythin, there are pros and cons.. first, the location is very nice, close to 7 different bus line to access the metro, close to the highway (395, 95, etc) parking garage, maintance, alarm system. However, since I have lived here for 11 mos, I have encountered roaches and worms in my apartment (upon the second day I moved in). I have had several backups in my kitchen from the tentents above me, not too mention, I can hear them (tenant above me) walking, talking, and flushing their toliets. I can always count on atleast one fire alarm "drill" per month, and the alexandria fire dept. takes their time to turn it off as its a reoccuring theme here. Although, there are signs that state animals are not allowed on the elevator, no one abides by this.. so you can always expect urine in the elevators. If you complain about noise, dont expect managment to do anything other than suggest you meet the neighbors that are causing a disturbance (what good is this'). So all in all.. my experience was below OK.. Not bad for a first apartment, but make sure you are not on the first floor, and face away from wooded area.. (worms will come into the apartment), very close to public transportation.. but if you look you will find something else that may be better
