I moved into this apt April 18th 2008 2 days after move in I saw beatle looking bugs in my apt. I went to talk to Ron(manager of the complex)and he got the pest people to spray my apt. After the pest people came I did not see anymore beatle looking bugs anymore but now I do have ALOT of ants. It got to the point that I dont even feel comfortable in my apt they are everywhere and it turns out that there are holes in the walls and that is where the ants are coming from. I called the office right away and told them. They sent maintence and maintence covered all the holes with plaster. I would not recommend this apt to my worst enemy. The stairwells are FLITHY DIRTY and the apts are obviously not well maintained or else they would not have so many holes in the walls of the apt. Im thinking about moving back to the Reserve at Potomac Yard since those apt are better maintained
Update: Since I wrote this letter I still see ants but it is MUCH IMPROVED!! When I looked over the apt throughly I did find some more small holes around the windows and the balcony door. I decided to take matters in my own hands and go to home depot and buy the hole filler in the tube and plug the small cracks and holes that I was seeing myself instead of calling them since I work night shift and my sleep is constantly being interrrupted with the maintance crew. I feel more comfortable living here now that I rarely see any bugs but I still think the stairwells are dirty. If anyone decides to move here make sure the leasing consultant takes the stairs!! cobwebs everywhere holes in the walls, cracked cement. You might not want to live here once you see that!!!! I think that would of made a difference to me also dont take any apt by the wooded areas higher chance of having bugs in your apt no matter what floor you live on!!!!!!!
July 6th responding to comment made of my review.... The reason why I wrote "take the stairs when looking at the model apt is because I live right beside the stairwells. The same bugs that I am seeing in my apt is the same bugs in the stairwell. If there are holes in the stairwell walls these bugs can travel in the walls and get into the apt. So even though "im not living in the stairwells" the stairwell bugs are trying to live with me. If I had seen the state of the stairwells in the 220 building before move in I would not be living here right now. I have learned to deal with the present situation the best way I can. By trying to help future tenants not make the same mistake I made also helps me deal with my present situation. 6 more months to go and Im out of here!!!!!!!

Well it's not like you are LIVING in the stairwells are you? That makes no sense. Just because there are spider webs doesn't mean that this isn't a nice place to live.
