Animal Feces

When I moved in I was told I was required (and it is in my lease) to clean up after my pet. If I did not do so, I was subject to eviction. I take my responsibility to my pet seriously and I certainly do not want to offend other tenants. Well, Barton's Crossing does not abide by the same rules nor do they enforce them. I see animal feces and urine on the walls, in the elevators, in the building lobby I live in, in the parking garage and in my hallway. At times it can take 2-3 days for it to be removed after you call the management. Because they do not run the air conditioning in the hallways, the urine smell on the walls when it is hot can be overwhelming. The pet owners, particularly the owners of large dogs, do not pick up after their dogs outside. At times, there are huge piles of animal feces all over the property. It does not matter whether Barton's Crossing provides bags for people to pick up the feces, the owners do not use them. And Barton's Crossing does not clean it up. All you can hope for is a good rainfall.
If the people who answered the telephone were at least polite and more responsive possibly the decision to stay here would be different, but my lease is almost up and I have had enough.
