I would never recommend this place to anyone

This apartment was crappy. Paper thin walls, if your neighbor has a child or two, you will definitely hear them, or if they listen to music with their apartment door propped open so the whole building has to listen, like our downstairs neighbors did frequently. Had a problem with people standing around talking outside my building right beneath my window at all hours of the night (and my window does not face out onto a parking lot), could hear them crystal clearly. Gave maintenance three notices about a large crack in the ceiling that, over the course of my living in this apartment, spread from wall to wall, but nobody ever came to look at it. The bathroom ceiling began to leak from upstairs, we told maintenance, they fixed the leak upstairs but never came to look at our moldy ceiling. Firetrucks and ambulances travel Southgate Drive FREQUENTLY, and they will blare their sirens at 4 in the morning more often than at 4 in the afternoon. No assigned parking, but I somehow always had to park two or three parking lots away from my building. In short, I would rather live in a cardboard box than pay the outrageous prices to live in this place ever again. If you're going to pay so much to rent an apartment, you should look elsewhere, because it is just a waste at Beacon Hill.
