Tenant Moving Out

Belle Haven Towers is an okay place to live; however, they especially need to upgrade a bit with updated bathroom fixtures/appliances, kitchen appliances and ventilation. I moved here during the summer months, and it was etremely hot. I called numerous times (3) to have my ventilation fixed and the same problem arose. As far as the roaches are concerned, I didn't have a problem the first year I was here at all. That was, however, until they did there yearly extermination and a minor problem with roaches surfaced that would last about 3 weeks. Overall, the maintenance staff is really good at responding to repairs; the management staff- namely, Rhonda Roberts, and Joan Leviner- are the sweetest and most professional leasing consultants/managers that I've ever encountered. The property is clean and well kept. The one problem that I do have is the unit that I'm in draws alot of noise. For example, the bedroom is adjacent to the trash room, consequently, you hear the trash being funneled through the chute. The bedroom/Apt sits atop the main entrance, so you hear the door slam. And, it's directly across from the elevator, so you here the elevator constantly. Oh yes! I did ask to be moved to another apt when I soon realized that this apt was uncomfortable; however, I was told by the regional manager that I couldn't be switched to another apt. because she would have to renovate it over again- mind you I was only in it for 2 days with no furniture. Well, come to find out she lied. My advice to you, the potential tenant, is to inspect your apt. If you find problems before hand, don't settle for "we will fix it," make sure its fixed before you sign the lease. Test the ventilation to make sure it blows cold air, and hot air. I hope you find a nice apt should you decide to move into Belle Haven Towers. Or, where ever you move for that matter. In building 6038, albeit, the apt that sits above the main entrance is not a comfortable one. I hope this helps with your apt search.
Also, I would've moved sooner, but financially I was unable to in the time frame I had hoped, especially after my yearly lease ended- renewed with a month to month until I had found something more accomodating.
