Mice? And yet someone has continued to live in the apartment for four years with mice? Though I'm not a rich man, but neither am I poor, but I'd be willing to pay at least $20 to see the mice that are "everywhere". When I was in the Navy we traveled extensively and rented. In the US and overseas we NEVER encountered a single or married mouse in any apartment we rented. I will not ridicule the person claiming to see mice everywhere. Belle Haven Towers has a policy of "spraying" each apartment twice yearly. The buildings have approximately 80 apartments each. If the vermin were that plentiful, trust me, the management would have eliminated that problem immediately. Belle Haven Towers also has a policy that if you desire to have your apartment sprayed at times other than those regularly scheduled, they will have it done quickly and at no expense to the occupants. We don't live on the 7th floor, but we do live on the 4th. I'm sincerely sorry that the writer has had this negative experience, and I wish her sincere success in finding a new place where she and her child will be happy.

I never spied any mice or droppings of mice either. I'm confident there were no mice in 6036. Droppings would have been around the laundry and basement trash room. And I did look. But definately not the place to have a baby, too many other creatures. They do spray when asked though and it is free.

I too live in 6040 and have seen mice in my apartment. I'm on the 4th floor. At first I thought I was seeing things out of the corner of my eye becasue they move so fast from one hiding place to another. My girlfriend said she saw something in the kitchen which lead me to believe that there was a problem. I bought some glue traps and so far have caught 6 mice. I think they're all gone now. As for those who ask why I don't move out, think of how much that would cost and the effort it would require. I would have to not only move all of my heavy furniture and waste a weekend, I would have to break the lease I signed 3 months ago with a penalty and have to change my mailing address with all my contacts and credit card companies. It's much easier to buy a few $3 mouse traps from Walmart and be done with it. As for the spray, think about it...roach and generalized bug spray isn't designed to kill mice so if and when they do spray, maybe it kills some ants but the mice keep on kicking.
