My fiance and I live in Bolling Brook -- not the towers, but the main part of the complex with the garden-style apartments. We were amazed to find such a large 1-bdrm with a balcony, pool, w/d in the unit, and dishwasher for this price. The location is great. The bus to the Pentagon is right across the street, and you can walk down to Shirlington, which has a great indie movie theatre and lots of restaurants (they're adding a Harris Teeter, new library, playhouse and shops at Shirlington as well). In the other direction, you can walk to Target and other shopping on King St. There are some minor cosmetic improvements that could be made to the outside of the buildings at Bolling Brook, but the inside of our unit is totally updated with new appliances and feels like a new apartment. Our neighbors are nice people, and are generally quiet. We were also happy to find an apartment where we could have small pets.
