Best apartment I've lived in in this area

I'm in my fourth year here at Braddock Lee, and above all have been very pleased. Part of this is personal taste--I like a garden style apartment with some character, not a new cookie-cutter high rise community. These are older apartments, which in my book is a plus. They are very solid--not sure what the reviewer who commented on the noise is talking about, other than hearing the woman who lives above me sing opera in her shower--the sound comes down through the vents into our bathroom--we never hear a thing through our walls. We have several very loud families in our building with small children, and we can hear the noise in the hallway, but as soon as the door to our apartment is shut, we don't hear anything from other aparments. In fact, I have a treadmill which gets fairly frequent use and have never received a complaint (granted, I try to use it during normal hours and also I live above the laundry room, so who would complain') My absolute favorite thing about our apartment is the tons of natural light from the large windows and the great view--my living room window looks out onto a big blossoming tree and the bedroom is surrounded by trees as well, it's like living in a natural reserve, we hardly ever need to pull the shades due to the trees shielding our windows from passerbys--but at the same time we can see out and enjoy the lovely surroundings. My biggest complaint would be that my car has been broken into twice in the parking lot, although nothing was stolen, so I assume the break in was interrupted. And overall, I feel very safe here, I think the car break ins happened in an isolated time period and won't happen again--since then more lighting has been installed and security has become more vigilant.
