Pros...
Charming building, crown molding, speedy maitenance, immaculate, safe, and quiet grounds, nearby grocery stores, staff is decent-not friendly, not mean, rather uninformed.
Cons...
Rent is increasing and utilities are being phased out, boiler system for heat and AC-means the loud units switch once to heat, and once to AC-the manager told me this sweltering spring that the temperature would have to exceed 90 degrees for 3 days in a row before the AC would be turned on...water problems-once it was turned off for 2 days, tiny kitchen with very minimal storage, paper thin walls (not to mention bathroom vents that enable you to hear exactly what's going on next door, Laundry and storage facilities are disgusting/decrepit/infested and you can only load your laundry card in the office during office hours with $5's and higher bills, little closet space, not metro accessible, very congested area, I am finishing up my one year lease and getting out, in that time they've entered the apartments 5 times for various inspections, and other supposed regulated entries that I view as invasions of privacy...this is not including the maitenance guys who are always over because something is breaking or leaking in my so called newly renovated unit. Oh, and enjoy the creatures...
