I was from way out of state and searching for appts in the area and called Braddock Lee and spoke with Delores. She assured me that an appt was available and schuduled me for an appointment. I drove 4 HOURS and paid for a hotel stay only to arrive and be told by her that there was no apartment available and that she never remembered making the apointment! But the she gave me the old, "let me double check...oh wow...we do have 1 available but I would need to you put down a deposit and reserve it, and I couldnt show it to you yet" Ummm, I must look like an idiot. She also refused to show me any other appt similar to it! DONT LET THEM CON YOU. It looks like a descent complex from the outside, but do your research!!!

Lived here?

I totally agree! I lived here before and I've tried to upgrade. I was told that my new apartment will be ready to view in few days. Then days turned to weeks and my 60 day notice was approaching. I was given a new view date that actually placed me 58 days into my move out notice...the 58 days would result in me paying for an extra month since you have to give 60 days notice and they are unwilling to break that. Therefore, I asked to just see the floor plan (just quick look) of the apartment, I just wanted to see if it's big enough. I was told that I can't see it and that if I want it now I should place a deposit on it.
Nice trickery!
I have moved out and found a bigger and nicer apartment for the same price (including all utilities). Since hey, the utilities are Braddock Lee are no longer inclusive, even if you take the budget plan whatever you use at the end of the year you will have to pay (if you used more then the monthly fee)! Don't let them con you into the budget plan, makeing you think that you can pay only $x.x amount for unlimited usage. Of course you pay $x.x and if at the end of the year you paid more then you get the money back, if you paid less then you have to pay the extra...worst of all none of the apartments are designed to work as seperate units...they don't have seperate water nor electric meters. So in the end you will be paying your neighbhors utility bill!!!
