A decent place to live. The building is a bit old, but has recently been re-modeled. Security could be better... There currently isn't any although I have yet to hear of a single problem. Maintainance is o.k. and staff is friendly and reasonable.
Living in an older building does have disadvantages. Some rooms heat/cool better than others. The living/dining area might be toasty warm while the kitchen is freezing. For some this may be a problem, but I find it charming as it reminds me of the house I grew up in. The place really does have a home type feel to it which is nice. Pets are welcome for just $200 down and then $10 a month, very reasonable for this area.
When you figure in the fact that utilities are included and the location is prime for commuting, close to the Metro and around the corner from 395, I think all those factors make this place worth a look. Guest parking is not too much of a hassle w/ street parking on Menokin and you can park against the curb of the actual complex itself.
Overall, I'd have to say this is a solid place when compared to others in it's category.
