First off the people that run this place are liars. A few months ago we received a letter from management saying that the rumors about selling the property were not true. The other day we recieved another letter from management saying that it had been sold. On top of that there have been cases of armed robbery in the area, DURING THE DAY!! At night the grounds are poorly lit and sections of the grounds are almost completely pitch black. The electrical and plumbing systems are a nightmare. When we turn on the grabage disposal all the lights in the apartment flicker, when a hair dryer is turned on the lights in the bathroom dim until the hair dryer is turned off. The cable hook up for the television is placed in the kitchen which requires wiring to run through our apartment. The sinks and dishwasher get a constant water temperature while the shower fluctuate between freezing, luke warm and scalding, and the order and frequency varies every time regardless of where the knobs are set. Carpet tacks stick out of the flor and the carpeting does not run flush with the walls. I can hear everything from the apartments above and below me. Neighbors constantly fighting with screaming children is not a welcome noise at 11pm. Parking after dark can be risky since spaces fill up quickly and I am often forced to park in another lot and walk through an extremely poorly lit area. The guest parking lot is also a joke. I never advise my guests to park in that lot since it is poorly lit and hidden behind trees. There are always a number of large trucks parked in the lot which block the view of the spaces from the street. The workout equipment in the gym is dated and functionality is spotty at best, especially with the stationary bikes. The pads are worn and the equipment hurts to use and feels like it will cause injury instead of healping to prevent them. The washer and dryer situation is a joke, if ever working. There are only three washers and two dryers per building, each having around 30 apartments in each building. Infestation is rampant in all buildings. We first had walls covered in roaches and they are under some sort of control many months after having moved in. I have also heard of other apartments having mice. Do yourself and your family a favor and stay away, LOOK ELSEWHERE!!
