Update
I would not rent from Brookdale. The management is deficient in responding to tenants and lacks confidence in the information they provide. For example, based on my experience in moving out, the management was unaware of their own policies and procedures (i.e. lease terms and following through with them) and did not meet timelines they gave (i.e. lease states that the tenant can request to have a walkthrough and will receive the security deposit within 60 days of the move out date). I gave management written notice with the specifics of where to mail the security deposit and contact information to notify me when they will be conducting the walk through and they failed to meet both promises. I cannot ascertain why management failed to live up to their obligations but it could be attributed to their high employee turnover rate (which can worsen issues later on down the road due to new employees being unfamiliar with policies and procedures).
Bottom Line
As far as the apartment living conditions, read the previous review. As for management and the move-out process, Brookdale management is aloof and does not live up to their promises.
I hope this helps someone out.
