if any brookville residents are reading this...demand change! the grounds are poorly kept. trash, bikes, and junk are found in the back yards...creating a constant eyesore. my bathroom needs renovating...especially the floor and shower stall. when i moved in , it was covered with a piece of rug! carpet in a bathroom is just NASTY! far too many residents live here with out-of-state plates. by law, they have 30 days to register with VA. they avoid taxes, but we pay! their "joke" of a pet policy seems to be a known fact. let everyone - or NO ONE have dogs. there's NO POOL. trash collection is a joke as well. landscaping...ridiculous. the only part of the complex with nice upkeep is the office area. a dead branch might sit on your lawn for MONTHS! and dont look for them to trim the curbs or rake away some hard to reach leaves. if it doesnt blow away by the wind - oh well. stop asking people to remove stuff from their yards and get out there and give them individual notices. the same warnings about junk - remain unheeded. what does the length of time living here have to do with the comments made. maybe it's BECAUSE they've been here so long that they can speak to the issues...DUH!

well, I think it's a nice community. Although the high rent is primarily about location if they are going to raise the rent they should fix this ant problem we (I) have in my home that has to be due to an infestation as well as the porrly working or maintained air conditioning. Lastly the walls in the bathroom could stand to be ripped out with the mold they tried to rid by sealing it over the mold as well as reglazing the tub so poorly that you slip constantly and it retains residue that is hell trying to clean. Otherwise no squables here!
