Metro line 25B runs until about 9:30 PM Mon-Fri, Dash #5 runs 7 days a week until about 11 PM. Yes, I've lived there about 3 years myself, and have noticed the lack of upkeep of the apartments and grounds also. Paying for parking? I don't know about that, but Management DID start having cars towed that are parked in areas reserved for residents with parking stickers when those other cars lack a Brookville parking sticker. Personally, I'm glad they enforce this. And when Management is "going crazy" enforcing lease provisions - I'm glad they do that, too - you signed the lease, abide by it. Apartment living for kids sucks, but that's no reason I should have to listen to a bunch of screaming kids playing right outside my window. In an apartment community, there just isn't enough yard space like you have with a single-family home to have kids just run around playing games. The community has a playground. And yes - the power situation is frustrating. I don't know what's going on, but I had more reliable electricity service when I was in the Air Force stationed in Honduras for a year. Between the 8-10 hour outages after a major storms, to the occasional 2-5 minute outages in the middle of a sunny day for no apparent reason, the reliability of electricity can be iffy. Until I switch to Comcast internet phone service, my Verizon service seemed like it was out of service more often than it was in service. I'll definitely not be renewing my lease here.

I have had problems with really big ---- roaches and No they are not waterbugs. When on any average day there is 30-55 bid dead bugs on my basement floor, there is a problem, I had to get the city code inspector invovled. My neighboor had a mold issue, for weeks, a whole in the ceiling of her kitchen, the whole was big enough to put a basketball through, it took them 3 months to fix that. In addition they are so stupid and allow there money to go to waste as oppose to fixing up the units. I know of atleast 2 residents, one who has never had their electricity switched to their name and the other never had the gas switched to their name, Both have lived their 1 year..so Brookvilles dumm asses have been thier bills the entire time to date...that money could be invested in the upkeeps of the property..They are unprofessional and stupid...

I can assure you that we do not pay for resident utilities bills. If they come to the office they are sent to the resident or service is turned off. We have a preventative pest control schedule so that we do not have any problems with pests. They are here every Monday to do the service. We must all follow the rental agreeement we sign it for a reason and if the rules are not followed then we must enforce them. It is not fair to those resident who do follow them and have to live with the chaos of those who do not. We just made updates to our playground to include, play chips, new picnic benches and grills. Please feel free to use at any time. Everyone is welcome to go to the City of Alexandria website to see recent crimes in the area. I have checked the website and also with our officer onsite and nothing has reported as far as car thefts. Here is the link http://alexandriava.gov/police/info/crimereports.aspx?id=98 As always please contact us if you have any questions at 703-370-1330. Have a great day.
