I have lived here quite a while, and for the most part it's a pretty good place to live. Parking is my biggest complaint. Supposedly they have parking rules, but don't seem to enforce them as people continue to park over two parking spots, park cars without Brookville parking decals, and park both cars (sometimes more) next to the houses with no regard for their neighbors. They also have their friends park in resident parking. It's annoying when you try to be considerate, but others don't have any regard for their neighbors. I have sent a letter to management, but they haven't appeared to do anything about the problem. Maybe they have and these folks just persist with their disregard for the rules.

No, you are not the only one who sees this. The big SUV's don't fit at all, so they have to borrow space from the next parking space. Because of that, even my tiny car doesn't fit sometimes.

LOL!! "Trying to create more parking spaces..."?? I wish they'd just assigned one parking spot per apartment and called all the others up for grabs when I lived there. I usually just parked my truck on the street on Taney Avenue when I lived there. Unless there were two parking spots consecutively open, I couldn't parallel park my truck because of the narrow service road along Taney. I am sooooo glad I moved out of Brookville, not only because of the parking issues, but a HOST of other issues (such as cost!) Yes, I'm 30 miles out now, but I live in an apartment WITH AMENITIES, brand-new construction, don't have to listen to the trucks, buses and BOOM-BOOM car stereos passing on Taney, and am soooo much happier not having to deal with attitude of some of the women who work in the office there at "Hoodville".

I agree. The parking spots here are ridiculously small. I own a very small car and have never had a problem parking my car in the 3 1/2 years I have lived here, but now that they re-did the spots to "make more spaces" for people, I can't ever fit my car in the space unless there's another one open in front of the one I'm trying to park in. It's HORRIBLE!!!! We finally got rid of the property manager causing all of the towing problems, but now we have to deal with parking spots that we can't fit in. What's next? I can't wait to move out of these townhomes.

THis is hilarious, ok, black gets censored too, that doesn't seem fair, I want to be censored dang it. This sucks, how come I don't get censored, that's discrimination. So my guess is they don't want people writing reviews describing who your neighbors might be, by their race or color. Well just to go on the record, my neighbors are black, and great people, and the latino family down from us, are very nice too. But the hordes of people down the street, are a real pain in the azz!

Hey K Kelly what part of Brookville do you live in? I live in the townhomes as well with my wife and kids, and I dont mind it at all Yes its a little overpriced, but to be honest it does help keep out the disrespectful types that live in the apartment complex behind me. But I agree about parking we should all team up together, because my neighbors feel the same way. I have counted out the spots along taney where I am and we have enough for a spot per unit in front of each house, even a couple left over. But yes many residents who own several cars park both on the street, and though the spots are small, no one told anyone to buy a SUV or minivan and live in the city limits. I think the repaint job was a stupid idea and not sure who the moron was who thought that would fix their problem. All they need to do is stencil the house number on the curb of each unit, if you want to park your car there or a friends thats your one spot , any other parking can be street parking. Its not hard to do. I dont understand why they cant figure that out. We do have alot of parking its not the complexes problem if you move here with multiple cars.I will join you with help in fixing this issue, because I am tired of chasing after idiots who cant park their cars in a spot so try and take mine because they can pull in headfirst. And when are they going to make these residents who have lived here for months or longer with out of state tags change them over? Many arent military. They were supposed to fix these issues with the new stickers, but you cant even call to get a car with no sticker, out of state tags towed anymore. I think the front office just doesnt know how to actually do anything other then try and keep residents here, which seems to be a problem in the 2 years I have been here. I like my place but I will leave if they cant maintain their basic policies. And they will lose a resident who is not late with rent which obviously is a issue since they have been sending monthly letters before the end of each month reminding people to pay rent on time. LOL

Anartist- I live along Ripley in front of the rental office and I have neighbors on both sides doing this.
