I moved in July of last year. After signing my lease received keys and the day I was scheduled to move in to my townehome I came to find out that just about everything was wrong. I was shown another unit when looking to rent told that the unit I would be moving into was being turned oveer and cleaned.
My unit had nails sticking out of the floor boards the bathrooms were filthy, broken blinds in almost every room, a dishwasher that didn't work and mold on my ceiling.
Brookeville is the dirtiest place I have ever moved into, not to mention that in the summer the townhouse will not cool down with the AC and in the winter impossible to keep the upstairs heated so the utilities are throught he roof. I have a small child.toddler in which safety was my biggest concern and why I chose this property. I do not feel safe in my own place. The maintinence staff doesn't know how to fic the issues and the management just doesn't care.
I would never recommend anyone to move into this property.

Terry is great for Maintenance. He's the only competent one, and the only one who speaks english. The management staff turns over quick, and I've never met one who really cared, but I've never had a huge disagreement with them. You have to push to get them to do the right thing, but so far they have in the end. Agree these homes are old and you have to make them do maintenance to keep it safe. With the recent tree cutting incident and evidence that rents are still going higher even though there is absolutely no justification for it, though perhaps you have a point. Sad because this has great potential as a rental community. I wish the managing company would try a bit harder for the residents.

The maintenance staff here is a joke. Having them come back time and time again to attempt to fix the same problem is getting old. Fast. Terry was awesome, but with him mysteriously gone, nothing is done properly. And with the new call-in service, there seems to be no record of what has been done or if it's even completed.
