Nobody is ever at the front desk. The guy is in the leasing office on the computer eveytime I go there for help.
Most of the leasing office staff don't even talk let alone crack a smile. "It is what it is" answer has been given to me twice. What kind of answer is that' HELLO-help your residents and don't snap at them. Learn how to explain an answer and be professional.
The apartment is nice but we can get that anywhere in Alexandria. The free rent we got doesn't make up for the lousy customer service we have received and will continue to receive. They could not even tell us when our apartment would be ready to move into. The date was pushed back again and again. Obviously they are unorganized and very unprofessional.
The gym finally opened after waiting for weeks. Maybe you should not have people move into the building until you can offer amenities. All apartment buildings are offering free rent. At an established place the same amenities or even better are available like at the Post Carlyle. My co-worker lives there and loves it.
Construction noise is all over and the construction workers have no supervision. Our ear drums are breaking. Construction is happening in the building itself, and on three sides where office buildings and another apartment building are being built. Trash is everywhere. Once the buildings are done people will be able to look right in our window they are that close.
RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE BEFORE YOU GET SUCKED IN BY THE FREE RENT.

I don't mean to be rude at all, but you knew the apartment was not to be completed until sometime after you moved in. The noise of the construction is no fault to anyone else but your own. I am due to move in on Nov 15th and I understand that I am moving into a brand new building that is not yet completed. I also highly doubt that you were totally oblivious to the surrounding construction of other buildings, again your own fault. Now on the other hand, I personally have had not 1 bad experience with the leasing office, but then again I only spoke with 2 people out of the many that work there.

Some people in the office are better than others, but all are polite and responsive. If you move into a NEW building under construction and don't expect noise, you're an idiot! Alos, you can plainly see there are buildings under construction around the apartment building - again - if you think construction is noiseless, you're an idiot!! If you're going to slam a building, do it because of real problems, not imagined ones.

My favorite so far has been the fire alarm testing two days straight that shuts down the elevators. The problem is not so much the noise, or the walking, but the fact that once you go into the stairs, every single exit door is locked. I was stuck in the stairway for 20 minutes until the fire marshal let me in the door. I understand the construction, but these walls are paper thin. Drilling and hammering does not need to go on in the apartment next door at 7:00 in the morning. The leasing office has been awesome, but we only deal with Jarod. He is fantastic!
