STAY AWAY:, AS FAR AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being in the military this has absolutely been the worst apartment I have EVER lived in. After you sign your lease with a smile you are instantly shown you live in their home, not yours. Here are just a few of my experiences during the past two years:
- Not only is the parking really bad, dont bother asking to keep your moving van parked for a while, atleast unless you are a new member of the staff. Yes, then you can park your 25' moving van right in the fire lane and have the Property Manager tell the towing company that it can stay there overnight. After the police are called and the resident police officer says the vehicle must be towed Management will quickly get off their duff and stop the tow and make sure they don't have to pay any fees.
- Even though my rent is automatically taken out of my pay and goes directly to Equity I have been served twice with notices of non-payment and eviction notices.
- Another safety issues, yes they are currently remolding, and they allow the workers to tape over the fire extinguishers and detectors for several days at a time. Won't even go into how many floors have been flooded from the sprinklers going off, but management will charge you for the reparis.
- After you move in try and go speak with the management. Most of the time they are to busy to see you, at times have actually been told to make an appointment. If you take the time out of your busy schedule to go and see them, have some padding for your nose, they may slam the door in your face.
- One of the few places that excepts dog, that's why I'm here. Provide your own doggy poo bags, sometimes it takes weeks for them to restock. Get ready to here the 6 weeks on just about anything you bring to their attention.
- Disregard their notice in their monthly flyer about talking with management first. Go to the top, forget the district manager, as they say things roll downhill and I truely beleive that is where it comes from. I ended up having to contact their corporate headquarters in Chicago before she responded to me. Got a free parking space, $350.00 refund on overpaid bills and a new stove out of that call. And Ooohhh, what a suprise the DM finally called me.
- After signing your lease expect a new full management team by the end of the week. Talk about a turnover.
-If they redo the swimming pool expect them to begin Memorial Day weekend and take all summer. That is if they do it like they did the tennis court, 6 weeks is what I was told, they finally finished in late October.
- Secure parking is great if they fix the door. Been two months now and the DM has not approved the funding or gotten a contract. Roomate has been approached twice leaving for work in the morning. At this place your safety is #1000000000.
- One more thing expect to drop around $1,100 for a pet deposit with $600 non-refundable.
I think that is enough for now. I complete another I'm quite sure after I move out. Can't wait until mommy and daddy leave another note for me and my fellow tenants on what we did wrong next and how we are expected to act. If you want to live in a daycare this is the place for you.
