Most of the other reviews I've read have been candid honest depictions of the eviction notices, rude management and maintenance staff, in particular the maintenance head. This guy thinks he owns the building and has a serious chip on his shoulder. The internal management is mostly rude and incompetent even when they make the "imfamous" and often accounting mistakes, resulting in a rude notice slid under your door. The front desk staff is nice and they do have one bright star manager. The trouble is, this is the one you will meet when considering a lease. After you sign the lease, everything changes. You can expect a fire alarm evacuation once a week and a flooding once a month. You can call the Alexandria Fire Department to independently verify this information. The trash room smell will often encompass the parking garage, hallways, and lobby. If you live anywhere near the trash rooms, the smell seeps into your apartment. Imagine having a candle light dinner with the aroma of hot garbage blowing in on your dinner plate. It is a shame because the buiding, location, the apartments, and facilities are very nice. After a year I moved out and will never look back. I did feel a duty to share this info. good luck.
