Good place, Bad management

I have lived in this apartment for two years. I loved my apartment, good amenities & a very equipped Gym.
The management at the time I signed the contract was very reliable and cooperative. The current management and specifically Mr. ------- ------- is the WORST Property Manager a company can have. He is awfully unprofessional, very insecure, extremely hype, a bad listener & tremendously rude. In a nutshell, he has NO Mangerial skills.
The Assistant Property Manager, Ms.-------- ------. She is just a follower, with zero leadership skills or charisma.
so, you might ask why I am bitter. I have my reasons. We had an issue regarding the contract & went to the office to discuss with the "Property Manager", Mr. -------. From the get go, he tried to intimidate us and starts gets louder and louder. He did nothing to listen or help us come to a decision.
My advice, if any of the assistants or even the manager tells you anything especially if you are renewing your contract, ask them to put it in writting. That is the only thing that will save you in the argument. Don't take their word for any information they give you and think everything will be ok.
BEWARE of any information that anybody in the property might give you. Document any & every statement. Even the notice of contract renewal (make sure you make a copy of that notice before you hand it back to the office).
This is a very good apartment with wrong employees. I would go back but not with this management.

Nonsense. If you sign a lease, you are supposed to honor that lease. So don't go badmouthing the people who have to remind you that you signed the lease. No one forced you to move into Cascade, so your bellyaching about not being allowed to violate one of the terms of your lease is nothing but snark. You made the deal - you live with the consequences.
Someone as snarky as you doesn't deserve to live in such a nice place. Good riddance to bad rubbish!!!

Actually, I had a very similar problem to the post above. I was told one thing, and they charged me against what they told me. You HAVE to get everything in writing with them our you'll be snaked into paying something that you did not "agree" to. I ended up paying over 100 more for rent due to this. By the way, to the other post...I did NOT sign anything locking me into a price. It's not bellyaching when you are so deliberatly deceived. I still very much like the building, so definitely look into living here, just be very cautious with management, and make them sign, stamp, and date everything that involves payment or prices.

I agree with the initail posting and the other that was agreeing. The management is shady and they create ways for you to pay/owe moer money. I like the building its just the management and poor decision making as well as slow reaction time on problems within the building is upsetting. I only communicate through email so that it can be documented. I suggest that to everyone. Management tries to get over on everyone. I feel that alot of the snap backs on negative comments are from anonymous 'management' lol....so sad. Glad to be gone.
