I have had an apartment here for a number of years, through a number of owners, and I can say, without any fear of contradiction, that Equity is by far the best of the bunch. This is a beautiful building, with lovely apartments, really nice residents, great amenities, and, now, the nicest staff I've ever met - anywhere.

When I was laid up after surgery, the folks from the office came to my apartment and took out my trash! They also went and picked up my mail, offered to go get me groceries, and checked in regularly if they hadn't heard from me. These aren't employees - they are family.

As for the former resident who left the nasty "review" just before this one, well, I happen to have encountered her in the lobby, and then on the elevator, while she ranted in a loud and remarkably vulgar way about how she was not being allowed to violate the 60-day move-out clause. She wanted the manager - a truly great, great guy, one of the nicest smartest fellows I've ever encountered - to waive the clause, but he told them he couldn't. They had signed the contract (lease), and they were bound by it. She was out of her head, yelling and carrying on, and I was just glad she was moving out of the building. I don't want someone like that living here.

It's spotless, the maintenance people are amazing, showing up so quickly and doing their best to make sure everything is in order and working properly before they leave. Walter and Inmar are the two gentlemen who have given me the best service. I'm just overwhelmed by their professionalism, again and again.

The manager, Tony, is a real old-fashioned gentleman with a lovely sense of humor and a charm that cannot be measured. He's carried groceries for me more than once, and, yes, he's taken out my trash when I was ill. I would trust Tony with my life, that's how good he is. And any allegation made - like in the post below - that he would ever raise his voice is just ridiculous. The woman who posted that is a liar.

By the way, I'm an attorney. I make a lot of noise when things go wrong, but, in the case of Cascade at Landmark, I am making a whole lot of noise here because things here go so right. So very right.

You cannot live in a better place.
