I lived at EOS for 3 years. I recently moved due to a relocation. The thing I liked the most about the property were the amenities. The only complaint I had was that they don't have staff to keep the business center, clubhouse and theatre open in the evenings. For the most part the staff is friendly and helpful but occassionally you will run in to one who doesn't have the answer or who is having a bad day and isn't as friendly as they should be. I never had a problem with staff or bugs. I saw 4 roaches total throughout my 3 years in my apartment.

I do want to address some of the other postings that are on here. The staff can't give you information or really answer questions that have to do with the police such as drug busts or murders. They weren't random. All residents have to go through the same screening process so there is no way to rule out "drug dealers" if they have a clean record just as you and I do. The recent murder was a domestic homicide from what all the news media is saying. If you have a problem in your apartment you have to go through the proper chain and put in a work request in order for it to be fixed. Anytime I put a request in they were out within the week depending on the urgency and had it fixed.

I saw the property when it was under different ownership and management and it is 10 times better now then it was. You are not going to have perfection at any property especially when it is 40 years old! I agree with the person who said that people are more willing to complain then to compliment. Think about it...1,200 apartments and only a couple complaints a month seems like good odds to me.

Guess I lucked out with my experience. I recommend living here.

The reality is that perhaps there is classism here....I thought that i was moving into a decent area, with a decent class of folks. I was wrong, and many people see this. These are the ones that are moving out. This is a place where we can tell our stories, and the reality is that this place is for folks that think living in squander is okay. Look around, you will can find better conditions. I should have looked around more....shame on me. "never judge a book by its cover." ...wished i knew of this site before i rented...

Sounds like another management planted review to me. Lovely pic of the one tennis court; how about showing the one that is a trash and storage heap. If you advertise something, it should be there, not "coming" whenever you feel like it.

Lovely pic of one tennis court; how about showing the one that is a trash and storage heap? Business center - you advertise it. It should be here, not parts of it or whenever you feel like giving it back. Most of the good reviews on this site are management plants. Reader beware.

Temples? You sound like you're just mad because you don't know the difference between "squalor" and "squander". You just told on yourself son. Go buy a dictionary.

This is a management planted review, and the amenities are absolutely terrible and not open when it is convenient for the renters. I also know for a fact that they DO NOT run background checks because they didn't when I moved in.

I wrote the original review and moved out this summer. I can promise you that it was not a "management" planted review. I agree that the amenities should be open later. I spoke to management about this on several occassions. Apparantly it wasn't in the budget and they didn't have staff for it. As for the courtyard that used to be a tennis court, it was under development when I left. The last they told me was that they were planting grass...all the garbage and construction storages had been removed. I figured the grass would have grown in by now. Are you aware of what fair housing is? You have to treat everyone the same....they can't run one background/credit check and not another. They can get in a lot of trouble if they don't do this.

Yes well the fact is that most apartment complexes run background checks to weed out the felons and sex offenders, I am quite aware of fair housing and am all for it except when they don't have scrupples about what kind of people they have renting apartments. The grass my have grown in a bit but it still looks like an eyesore, the garbage is still a mess and how would you know any of this unless you were in tight with the management??? Oh and the health inspector sent me a letter stating that there is in fact serious issues with the apartment building I live in and now I am contacting the building code officer.

you need to post some of the mug shots of the tenants that live here and the ones who break into cars and mug people on a regular basis
