I moved out last month and I have never been so glad to leave a property. I don't mind paying a bit more to live without the crime and the roaches, and to have security doors that actually work. This place is a pit, and management isn't good for anything but collecting checks.

In answer to your last question, NO. And I lived in J also. I can tell you that management and ownership has no interest in there being a residents' committee, the latter called me a rabble rouser for trying. Don't resign...and take advantage of your status as a complainer to break your lease.

I guess you could form a sort of picket arrangement. Eveyone who is disatisfield with Alexandria Apts. safety issue could rally togehter and stand in front of the offices this spring and demand better security measures. Hey, you could even invite the news for the event. This will place EOS in a bad position to have to answer these types of issues. But you have to designate the main person to talk for everyone else otherwise it's all chaos. I live in the apts. so if I see this kind of thing coming down the bend I'll join.

I'd would join as well, although I am taking my own legal matters up with them for the issues the health department has documented in my building. I actually just talked with Peter Stackhouse about this complex and he is definately someone everyone should call.
