Ha Ha...could you please tell me one good thing about this place? Come on now seriously...Unless you like your apt with bugs, enjoy the crime area, enjoy parking thousand miles away due to lack of "resident" parking and not condo parking, enjoy the annoyance of the resident staff who treat you with no respect, enjoy paying ridulous fees for accidentially locking yourself out of your own apartment "after hours," enjoy finding mice running through your resident hallways. Hmm, I wonder what else there is to enjoy about lovely EOS 21...Can you tell me?

What about the elevators that keep breaking down? I've been in these elevators before when they broke down and once, I was really lucky to escape. Had to pry open the elevator door and jump down from the place where it had stuck, which was about six feet above the floor. Management did not allow me to inspect the apartment before moving in. I was stuck because it was my only option for a place to live and I had passed their credit check, etc., paid for first month's rent and deposit. After I'd moved in, I noticed there was a bad smell under the kitchen sink and found it was a mouse nest! Egad ...

In reply to Anonymous reply number 1 - Date: 07/22/2008 I've lived here for almost 1 year and I have yet to see a 'bug', nor have I had an issue with crime. I counted today after I parked...and I literally walked 15 steps before reaching the back door...so I don't have to park 'a thousand miles away'. Keep in mind, we live in ALEXANDRIA. Parking is always an issue there, so the problem is not just EOS 21, it's Alexandria-wide. (SIDE NOTE: This area builds up...not out. Alexandria has many high rises. SOOOO many people live here...wtf are they going to park?) Ridiculous fees for locking yourself out? Are you two? Do you need a chain to wear around your neck with the keys. Quite frankly, I would charge you if you wake me up at 3 AM saying that you locked yourself. Ever heard of giving someone a spare key? Haven't seen a mice EVER...ok...there you go. I have really enjoyed my experience while living here. Both pools, tennis courts, and volley ball court is awesome. I have never had a problem with management or the staff in the leasing office. They have always been kind to me. I have never had a problem with maintenance. In the time that I've been there, I've had a problem with disposal and a leak from an upstairs neighbor. The leak was after hours and I didn't know what to expect because, ofcourse, the reviews state that maintenance doesn't respond and residents get an answering machine after hours. When they picked up, on the second ring, I was really surprised. I gave them my information and the maintenance guy was there within the hour. Anonymous Date: 07/24/2008 See reply for #1. I am not a management plant. IDIOT! From: Anonymous Date: 07/31/2008 Pretty gross about the mouse, however, I have not had a problem. No problem with elevator either. Who signs a lease without looking at the apartment first?...oh wait a minute, I know one person...you! CLOWN! The point of this is...THIS IS MY OPINION and my EXPERIENCE. It's a big complex with many units, meaning that each person will have a different experience. So let me continue having my wonderful experience...and if you haven't already moved...GET OUT!

And now your past your year and if you were stupid enough to renew, you will find your treatment very different.

Mr./Mrs. Anonymous and all the ships at sea...you said "And now your past your year"...Do you mean "YOU'RE"...as in YOU ARE...as in YOU ARE the one who is stupid. Please refrain from calling me stupid to renew, as I have not renewed my lease yet. I have been there for ALMOST a year and it's not time to discuss renewing my lease yet, however, I will. I would like to reiterate that this is just my opinion and that everyone in the complex will/might have a different experience with management or the staff, due in part to their perception of 'good service'. Calling for maintenance and receiving a visit within 30 minutes, to me, I consider 'good service'. For the size of the complex, it is impossible for us to realistically think that maintenance will arrive the second we hang up the phone. Really people, I'm not going to apologize for having only 'good service'...who does that?!!!!????

Anonymous - 8/5/2008 I didn't see my apartment until the day I went to sign the lease, however, I said...before I sign the lease, I'd like to see the apartment. They handed me the keys...I checked the apartment out...it was satisfactory...and then I came back to the leasing office to sign the lease. If you ask them to see your apartment and you're told "It is not our policy", next time, please ask them to show you where it is written. If it is a POLICY, then it would be documented for viewing. If it is not written, it is not POLICY!

You are either an idiot or delusional, possibly both. I hope you're very happy here; you and Eos deserve each other.

This is crazy, I have lived here for 9 months and was able to brake my lease early. In those 9 months we have caught close to 2 dozen mice, had to park 3 buildings away (and on more than one occasion had to park on the street and have my hubby come pick me up). We were not told that we could not control our heat or AC. As for the service requests in general I have had pretty good experience. However I called yesterday at about 4 to have someone come remove dead mice from traps. ( My hubby is out of town in the Army and I am pregnant, I can not handle the mice because of risk to me and the baby) it is now 10:30 the next morning and I am STILL waiting for them to show up!
