I Have lived in this hole now since Feb. 22 2008. We have caught probably close to 2 dozen mice in those 9 months!!! I have called the office many times all they do is come out and put down traps. We catch mice, put down new traps, catch more mice. it is a vicious circle! For the amount of money that I am paying for this place you would think that I wouldn't have to share my apt. with unwanted guests. To make matters worse I recently found out that I am 2 months pregnant. the droppings from the mice can be very dangerous to my unborn baby. But yet they still can't send someone out to remove the dead mice. I am telling you, if you have any choice as to where you live, you would be better off ANYWHERE else. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

I used to live in a one bedroom apartment at Alexandria Apartment Homes before it was renamed as EOS 21. When I lived there one person complained that he had neurological problems from chemicals and that he was deathly afraid of the constant spraying for roaches and the constant battle to lay out poison to keep rats out of the building (yes, rats, not little mice but huge rats in the building and overflowing into the parking lot). Obviously, these buildings are so old that it is almost impossible to control the pesticide resistant roaches, rats, and mice in the building. The advice I gave to the guy with the neurological problem was to complain to the Public health Department in Alexandria in order to either correct the problem or to help him break his lease due to hazardous environmental contaminants. Old people, young kids, and pregnant women are all more susceptible to chemicals, bacterial and viral pathogens (as transmitted by rats, roaches, and mice) so if someone in these categories (especially) has a problem with the health quality of the apartment or condo they live in the local public health department should be able to back you up to correct these problems or help you to be legally relocated and break your old lease. These types of complaints have been listed on these apartment rating web sites for over 6 years for the EOS 21 buildings so there is a consistent record of mismanagement on these websites in order to hire lawyers and sue for improvements or to break leases. Good luck to all of you suffering in these inadequate facilities. I recommend that you start to fight back through local and state government agencies and through lawyers. Best regards, A happy ex-tenant at Alexandria Apartment Homes
