I have to admit that there are lots of negatives about this place. However, if you are looking for an affordable place, it's really not so bad. It's a convenient location, shuttle or several different short bus options to the metro. The management is reasonable and friendly if you are with them. The maintenance staff responds in hours if you have any problems. If you see a bug or mouse, call and the exterminator will be there in a day or two. It is your responsibility to be a good tenant just as much as EOS is responsible to be a responsible landlord. Parking is plentiful if you don't mind not having a spot just across (and not next to) the entrance. Trash is a pain, but if you take it out you won't have mice. Yes, the carpet is the cheapest I've ever seen, I have to fight my poorly hung closet door every morning, the shower head is too low, and there's no way to tell if my oven is pre-heated. I've been saving about $500/mo compared to a place I'd rather live in. So it's not a bad place, there are tenants who feel entitled to more and are never happy, but if you want to save some cash it's a good place to consider.

OMG, does the word self esteem mean anything to this guy?Some people want (and demand)better for themselves.The good thing is with all the money you're saving here(from discounts being thrown at tennants to hold off the mass exodus )you can treat your impending health issues linked to the roaches and trash at the complex. -ANOTHER classic case of the tennant class at EOS section8.

Wow. I'm a young professional, graduate educated, as are some of my neighbors. Maybe I got lucky and am in good building with a few families, other people like me, some college age people, some older individuals. I see no reason to attack the tenants. In any large complex there will be less-clean or respectful people. What's with the attitude? I had the intention of sharing my honest opinion, if you don't agree that's fine and you should probably move.

Anonymous - enough already. Don't you have anything better to do? Do you actually live here or did you ever? I have lived here 5 years and there have been definite problems. But with the help of management they have all been resolved. It is a far nicer place now than 5 years ago. And guess what - I'm not a management plant!!! Or Section 8 either.
