I really enjoy living at EOS. I have spoken to many of the apartment tenants during our shared shuttle ride to the metro and discovered they are unhappy with EOS apartments. After discussing, I learned that most of their issues occured because of poor apartment management, which would explain why my experience has been so much better.

I rented from an owner of the condo's versus the apartment managers. EOS condo's have all been renovated and I have a landlord that owns the unit, therefore they are more responsive and have added interest unlike the apartment management. If you are unsure based on the poor reviews, I might suggest looking on Craig's list to rent a place from an individual owner. Or call the association manager of EOS and ask if he/she knows of an available unit.

My experience has involved very minimal rent increase, utilities covered, nice units, a washer/dryer in my unit,(which I understand the apartments don't offer), great neighbors who are mostly owners who keep their places clean and nice (no cockroaches!), all of the amenities including pool, clubhouse use (with video room, workout facility, and conference room) parties, shuttle to metro, an additional laundry facility if needed, tennis courts, playgrounds, and outdoor volleyball courts. I would definitely recommend this place to others if they will rent from the condo section versus the apartments association.

GREAT neighbors? did you move from -----------? We were out on our balcony the other day and the neighbor tossed a bag of trash off the balcony and it stayed for 3 days.What do you say about the values of an animal like that? The "neighbors" are the problem with that place. There's a guy in my building who walks his dog 3-4 times a day ..his precious Fido barking all the way down the hall & all the way back.Definitely a lower class of tenants. I will give the management props. They have a very good response on maintenance issues and have a PR/ tenant response firm handling apartment issues.
