The posts I have read for this apartment leave one to wonder if they are "fake" posts made by the manager and staff of Edlandria apartments. If you think they sound too good to be true, that's because they are. Trust me, I lived there for over 2 years!
Its difficult to get things fixed around the apartment. You would think recently renovated apartments would be near perfect but think again if you're coming to Edlandria!
The maintenance staff seems to find a reason once a month to come in your apartment to "fix" something. Personally, I don't want them in my apartment when no one is home and definitely not as often as they used to!!
One last thing, Edlandria is not guest friendly at all. No guest parking and hardly enough parking for the people that live there!
My advice: look elsewhere!

This user response makes me think it likely thie original reviewer's suspicions are correct. The overall rating is SO high that I would be suspicious too, given this response to his review. Looks like I'll be staying where I am, where the reviews are legitimate.

Most places I look at that are supposed to be ok have HORRIBLE reviews with details- all kinds of bugs, management ignoring problems, loud ghetto people doing whatever at all hours... guests park on the street, so what it's safe to walk there! At least they aren't parking on the street in DC. At the place i left, there was tons of guest parking... they didn't mention your car was likely to be stolen out of the lot! As one of my friends found out! And it is not a safe place to walk because of its proximity to the metro (ie. easy access to everyone in the DC area... who wants to steal your car and take it back to SE DC.) The negative reviews on this site hardly make a dent. I would definately move here based on both the negative and positive reviews.
