Thank God for Apartment Ratings. I've been living in Edlandria for several months. So far, So good. I picked an interior unit and it's truly a LUCKY FIND. The 2 reddish building units were the latest to be renovated, about 2 years ago. Good luck!
PROS:
- No Bugs
- All Utilities are included
- Very Secure (Key Card Access, Security Guards at night)
- Efficient maintenance staff and management
- Quiet and Clean (no loud neighbors)
- Clean (common area floors cleaned weekly, outside papers picked up daily, trash picked up outside daily)
- Very Civilized Neighbors
- Gym (24/7)
- Washer and Dryer in Unit
- Bus stop is very close(less than 5 minutes walk)
- Low-Rise Apartments
CONS:
- No Pets allowed
- No Park or Play area (tip, 5 minutes drive to a public park & Landmark Mall has a kids playing area )
- No Swimming Pool
- Small rooms, Square Footage (tip, if you have large furniture, you'll need to rent a public storage)
- Can hear my neighbors opening and closing their doors (there's a little gap between all units main door and the floor)
- the Carpet is old (tip, due to tough economic times, management might agree to replace the carpet before renting, some neighbors got lucky)
- No overnight Guest parking (tip, quests can park overnight off-street, Yoakum Pkwy is safe)
