I moved in here mainly because of the price and knew someone else who had lived here previously. While you will probably not find many other apartments in the area similar to this price, there are drawbacks. My apartment is old, parts of it falling apart, and I have had some maintenance problems (including leaks) since I moved in. The laundry machines in my building do not work well, so I go elsewhere. And recently, I have had to deal with roaches. I also find the area fairly noisy and have had noisy neighbors (but maybe that's just my building). Again, it's a decent price, but I would definitely consider spending more for a nicer, more comfortable, and cleaner place. Some may find the drawbacks acceptable for the price, others may not.

I had a similar situation. I rented here because of the price and I knew someone who lived here 12-14 years ago. Back then it was different. Now it's a mess. Crickets an dleaks are your biggest problem on a first floor. Roaches, no matter how clean you are, are a problem on the other floors. Big Ugly Disgusting Black roaches. What a nightmare! I will have to throw my stuff out when I move. I can't sleep with the though of them crawling over me. They really stick it to you by expecting you to follow the lease and then they change terms right and left. Oh and the Free Shuttle wasn't free as advertised once gas prices started going up. This complex is run by AIMCO. I had a friend in a different complex by AIMCO in Virginia and he has big problems with them too. I would definitely not recommend this place or company to anyone.
