I've been living at Foxchase for a year now and have so far (knock on wood) been happy. I felt the need to write my review after reading all of the horrid reviews on here.

Yes, it's not the 'perfect' place, but it's suitable. I live near the intersection of Jordan & Howard on the 2nd floor and the biggest problem I have had is that I have found a total of 4 crickets (not at the same time) sharing my apartment with me. There have been a few bugs, but no big problem. My building has always been fairly clean, and neighbors are pretty quiet. Have never had a problem with the laundry room, and have never felt unsafe (even when arriving home past midnight). Parking is only a problem when getting home past midnight, but then you are usually able to find a spot on the street.

Yes you hear sirens at night, but you will find that everywhere. I agree that the buildings are old and could use some more care, but for the rent they charge, it's not too bad, in fact I will be signing my 2nd year lease.

As for the peeping tom, reading this board is the first I've heard of that, so for me it hasn't been a problem (again, knock on wood). I feel that you have to be cautious in any place you live, and as long as you are you should be ok.
