According to the Alexandria police department we are living next to a crime hot spot. THe rif raff next door and the ones in the building are out and about in the parking lot screaming and fighting at 3 in the morning. It is time to move out... this building is now a dump!The washing machines don't work. THey take your money and when you ask for a refund the company refuses!

I feel that your review was great! It is the truth the company is so cheap that nothing is ever taken care of.... As for the rental office people obviously thier company would just put anyone in charge. There are only two people working there now, and its gotten worse. I just dont know what to say about it. They are firing all of the usefull people to leave people in the office who just wonder around the building all night drunk with thier hoodlum friends and even residents! They accept anything. Very unprofessional!

I don't have any bugs but the rental staff is very unprofessional (drinking on the job, shootings, wild loud parties etc>)

You Just Seem To Be A Very Upset Residence With A Problem hat Can Only Be Solved With You Moving. If It So Then Move On To Another Apt. People Always Wanna Complain On Things But In Reality You Can Change Things On Your Own End. MOVEEEE...I Have Been Living Here For 2 Years And Honestly Never Had Any Bug Problems What So Ever. I Have No Problem With Noise From Any Of My Neighbors Since Ive Been Living Here. Where Ever You Move To You Tend To Find Some Negativety Around, Everything Will Not Always Be Perfect "RESIDENT". I Am Happy Lving Here And Have Recommended Friends To Move Here Which Have. And They All Adore There New Home. There Is Alot Of Negativety With Old Residents Who Has Been There For Many Years Through All The Changes, Renovation, And Management Staff. All I Want To Say Is That We Dont Live In Beverly Hills, We Are In Alexandria, VA And Its Safe Here From All The Years Ive Been Here. So Find A New Place To Live At With Your Immature Mind Frame! Honestly everyone this is a site to post your review on a property! Every property has their shares of problems. So honestly, this is just immature in my opinion. I am a resident who has been living there from 2001-present. Things have change both good and bad, but I am happy at my apartment and havent had no problems with bugs, mold, etc. The new management are good and maintenance is perfect and on time with request. So said, I'm a happy renter! That said, "You can't please everyone."

I posted the first response to this message. I know for a fact that the property has gone down hill, more than hill! Its trash. FF is a company that does not go for thier emoloyees and residents doing these things here at Foxwood Place. The shootings, the drinking, the drugs, the fighting, everything is just too much. It makes me feel as if I am unsafe to even walk through the building doors. To my looks of it the response about the property being good is a lir, a fake. It is either written by ----- or one of those young rif rafs that run through the building with them! I know --- wouldnt write it because she is not even that literate from the looks of it. The fights are crazy amongst them. Thier own ---------- fighting each other in the hallways from the ----- to the ----- floor. Thier ---------- the one from the ----- floor tearing up the lobby entrance (before it was renovated) the manager going downstairs to have to clean it up. Thier ---------- offering weed to residents! Them hanging out smoking and drinking with other residents in the building. Allowing thier friends that are residents to have special treatment with ceartin things like moving late at night, locking down elevators! Throwing wild dangerous parties in the billard room that is not made for the leasing agent to live out of. Liquor weed smells coming from the billard room and you see management down there. It makes you wonder! If they are abla to do all of these things while living here, how is the office ran? It makes no sense to anyone. Residents talking about the shooting the beginning of the month, then they are still down there. I dont feel safe going into the office. When I see them like most residents are doing I just continue to walk the other way. The night of the shooting there were a lot of residents on the lobby floor talking not believing that they were involved. One thing they dont know is that the truth is out there. They can pull thier friend residents/the courtesy "free living officer" and whom ever else but the truth will come out. They lie to residents and tell them that they had nothing to do with it. Too many people saw too many things. The only reason Foxwood Place is going down is because of the rif raf they have in the office and also because of the rif raf that management brings in. Thier is going to be a change. Hopefully my opinion will help and have people listen. Do not be afraid to stand up and speak to someone about it... A change has to be made!

All of you are afraid to post your name??? CHICKENS!!! Money for the laundry?? Maybe you should use the coinmach card that is given to you at move-in, and I promise you the machines will work. I pass and actually ENTER the rental office EVERYDAY..........NEVER has either of the staff been drinking on the job. They are ALWAYS coherent, and willing to help with any problem that may arise. No, that is not why I go in ev everyday; just to say hello. THere was a shooting down the road a few months ago?? So, go live off of Beauragard St where a women was sexually molested waiting for the bus, or behind those apts, gangs leave their weapons. Problem in the party rm???? SO WHAT???? My brother lives in a VERY prestigious apt building and guess what? THE PARTY RM WAS ACTUALLY CLOSED DOWN PERMANENTLY because of "rifraf" that you say live here. I AM NOT RIFRAF!!! You need to change your attitude. I don't think you will be happy anywhere, Such a shame because you are certainly missing out on a wonderful team in the office, the well maintained garden, the cleanliness of the building, the great maintenance man who is here on his own, and laundry rms that ARE CLEAN!!! I do hope that your life turns out to be a more happier one and that you can finally feel at ease and :O)

I suggest everyone pick a random city, random state, random community and see how there's ALWAYS people that will ----- about anything. This website has turned into a high school cafeteria like setting with a bunch of immature people not knowing how to channel their anger... Making false accusations is a crime! What do you think is going to change based on your posts? Some knight dressed in all white is really going to show up at your door and tell you he's going to rid the place of all the CONS listed here? Wait for him... How about instead of sitting in front of your computer you losers get out and DO SOMETHING about these issues. No one will listen at a local level? TAKE IT HIGHER... Since all you whiners are more "professional" than the staff at the rental office, how about you use your resources and start a revolution? Posting on apartmentratings.com isn't going to change a THING at FoxWood or anywhere else. Sure you can move, but then we'll find your post anonymously under another community spreading rumors full of slander which could land you in jail. If there really is a genuine concern here, other than slander against the rental staff (which is basically what is seen here)everyone get together, start a petition, call channel news 7, write your congressmen, governor, the BBB, start a rally, do something other than ----- on this site. If your concerns are legit start a rally for your children who live here! Their safety is important! You've been MOST successful in getting me to NOT rent here... But it??s not because of the conditions listed... But it??s IRRESPONSIBLE residents like YOU that I don't want as my neighbors. People willing to sit by while the lives of others in YOUR OWN words are endangered. You should all be ashamed that you expose your children to this environment if it??s THAT bad. In the end, you also share part of the blame for NOT DOING A THING. Shame on you.

Sara_Dannon: Everything here is based on facts. Obviously you are not aware of the he petition that went around the bldg in early October and that was signed by over 100 residents. You also, obviously, missed the Landlord/Tenant board meeting held by the city every month, in which our problems were brought up as well as the petition and the lack of response from Fairfield. The meeting is held the first Wednesday of every month. The members of the board were given copies of the petition and numerous communications to management and all of them went unanswered. This greatly upset them b/c FF should have at least answered our questions--- this is what we refer to in the other posts. So, we don't know what you are babbling about when you say shame on us for not doing a thing. We are always doing things to better our bldg. and community. What do you do? Other than post ramblings and make accusations? You obviously also don't understand the point of this site. It is used to WARN others of the problems in the bldg. They are all legitimate. I invite you to contact the Alexandria landlord/tenant board, FF management, the mayor's office, which is now also involved, and the police department detective investigating the shooting. The fact that you are not aware of the problems in our bldg. or that to you they are acceptable does not mean they don't exist. So none of this is slander, you should inform yourself better in the future before making such accusations. Standing up for ourselves and DEMANDING the kind of management we USED to have is our right. If you don't like it move to a country where democracy does not exist. The ignorance and stupidity demonstrated in your post is appalling!
