Caution RENT is going up up and up

WE have lived in this place for more than three years now, but it is time to move out as the new management is raising the rent and not giving much options. Basically it is either you take what the management has to offer in terms of rent prices or move out. We no longer feel welcoming here. Overall people who live in the apartment are friendly and it is convenient to Metro and other services. A bus stop is right outside the building and you are very close to the downtown Alexandria.

Overall the place is not too bad except if you are in certain units that are near the trash can or facing the trash can, the noise is too much. Also they can certainly use better windows because the apartment is not well insulated. Also you dont have your individual heating and cooling so you are at the mercy of the management. The building is secured. Overall, if you have a little more budget then you can get a better place than Foxwood. I would not have said this just few months ago, but as I mentioned the prices are going up and you are not getting much in return so why stay here.

The prices are going up because they are renovating. But you can still stay in your apt and they will raise the rent a little, not what they handed out at the "unvailing" of the so called removated apartment. That is what the new property managet told me. I'm not moving when the lease is up nor am I going to transfer to the renovated one.

Well you are right but when they are increasing the rent, it does not make sense at least for me to stay in the same apartment, because we hear lot of noises in the morning and in the afternoon. Also, we found that there are better deals just around the same area. Thanks for the feedback.
