I would have to say that for a single person this place is not bad. It's not very noisey considering it's only one bedrooms and effiencies. There arent alot of kids running aroung which is good since the walls arent that thick. One thing I didnt like was the bugs-yuck. You must make sure you are using some form of bug killer. If you do it on regular they go away. The utilities are included, the staff is nice and the cable is free also. The building is locked with the exception of those who leave the door open or let others walk in behind them. Parking could be a bit of a squeeze after 9 or so, but you can park on the street.Price is not bad at all. Overall it's okay just remember to BRING THE BUG KILLER! k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S

As a current tenant of Glebe House I have yet to see the bug problem described above. I have lived here for 6 years and have yet to see even a single roach in my apartment. I have spoken to other tenants and neighbors and they like me have not ever had a problem. I would say the tenant above must have had an isolated experience. I highly recommend Glebe House as a safe, secure and enjoyable place to live.

I agree with ghtenant. I have never seen a bug of any kind. No ants, no roaches, nothing. And I don't take the garbage out every day. Parking is not a problem ever and I regularly get home after 10 pm. I might not be able to park in off-street parking that late, but on-street parking is right in front of the front door so actually more convenient. I don't know what they are talking about with bugs, never saw any, ever.

Bugs? Admittedly, the appliances are not the newest on the market, but those marks on the stove are not bugs. I've been there some time now and I've never seen a single bug, not even down in the basement where they used to have the laundry rooms (they've since moved them). The management regularly sprays for bugs and if the write really did have a problem, I'm sure the staff would have taken care of it immediately. They were always really good about fixing things immediately, even the noisy neighbor who loved their bass. Glebe is HIGHLY recommended by me!
