Great deal in terms of all utilities, cable, computer room with printer, fax, they've renovated a lot of the apts, etc. BUT the big problem is the quality of tenants. Lots of ghetto acting people who have no respect for their neighbors, making lots of noise 24 hours a day. if your a student that stays up all night, move here! otherwise look elsewhere. one woman has a clay throwing wheel, which she's inspired to use at night, which is fine if you have carpet on the floor. None of the apts have carpet so if you aren't on the top floor - nightmare!

One apt has an entire family living in it, kids included. uh, it's a studio, 3 people in a studio is a bit much. Plus they give out more than one parking pass to each studio apartment so there is NEVER a place to park in the parking lot.

some things need to be fixed in my apt. i asked about them two months ago, gave several reminders, and nothing fixed. the good thing is, it's an electrical problem with shorts in the bathroom which could mean I'll get to move out soon as everything shorts out and the places burns down

We are glad to hear that you are enjoying our community room and business center. I am sure our residents such as the CIA, FBI, State Department, Secret Service, Army, Navy, and Marines would take issue with you calling them Ghetto. Throwing clay cannot be done in an apartment; it must be done in a studio due to the dust created and the amount of space required. We do not know of anyone who has a clay wheel in their apartment. Your statement concerning carpet only applies to the unfurnished apartments as we provide carpet in our furnished apartments. Our Lease Agreement states that if you live in an unfurnished apartment you must carpet 80% of the floor so you do not disturb your neighbors. Our occupancy guidelines are dictated by the City of Alexandria and HUD. We do not tolerate overcrowded conditions. Maybe you heard and saw someone's guests. Anyone on the lease is entitled to have a car and a parking pass. We do not have guest parking; guests are required to park on the street. When they do there is enough parking for everyone. We are constantly monitoring the parking lots and towing is enforced. We complete maintenance requests within 24 hours unless we need to call a contractor. We have not received a maintenance request concerning an electrical problem. We hope that if there is one you will contact the Rental Office immediately. If you are as unhappy as this comment implies please contact the Rental Office concerning breaking your lease. We take threats of burning down the building seriously.
