I have lived here for about 10 months in a studio apt. The rent is cheap($854). All utilities and basic cable are included in the rent. There are no parking fees. I don't have any pets but I believe cats are allowed. There isn't a w/d in the apts but there is a laundry facility on site in each building. There are only 4 washers and 4 dryers in each laundry room but I've never had a problem with getting an open machine. I've only had 2 maintenance related issues during my stay here and the response been excellent both times. The first one I had managed to get locked out of my apt because the battery was fading in the old electronic locks. I went to the front office and someone came up immediately to replace my lock and give me a new key. New electronic locks have been put in throughout the buildings since and I don't believe these run on a battery so that shouldn't be an issue anymore. The other issue was last week. I thought my apt smelled like gas when I came home so I immediately went to the front office. The lady was very nice about it and accompanied me to my apt to check my pilot lights on the stove to make sure it wasn't a gas issue. Turns out what I was smelling was just an apt below me had got the wood floors refinished. False alarm but the the lady in the front office was very nice about figuring out where the smell was coming from. I've heard management is working on remodeling the kitchens and bathrooms in the apts. I inquired about price changes and the rent is only $50 diference in the remodeled apts. Not bad since most places raise the rent yearly rennovations or not. I've seen one bug in the 10 months I've been there and I honestly can't say it was a roach but just a chance encounter in the bathroom. So I'd definitely have to disagree with the review that suggests the apts have a roach problem. Noise has never been an issue. You can hear televisions/music from apts when you're in the hallway but I've never had an issue from inside my apt. The only downfall for me is since the building is older with solid construction I get a cell signal with Cingular/AT&T inside my apt just not a very good one. Can't really complain though because this was mentioned to me by the lady who showed me the apt before I signed my lease. It's still a good enough signal to text though. The neighbrohood is nice enough. Less than a mile from the Potomac Yard shopping area, restaurants, and a movie theatre. Overall a nice place to live and I would recommend it to anyone. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
