I just woke up to cigarette smoke smell(yet again) filling up my master bedroom and bathroom. It is absolutely disgusting and terribly strong. If you are a smoker, and you are reading this, can you please refrain from smoking in your bathroom/bedroom' The smell travels through the vents and ends up in other people's apartments. And since the bathroom does not have a fan, the only thing I can do is try to air the smell out thru the windows.
Yesterday I was in my 2nd bedroom (office) and heard my next door neighbor sneeze. The walls are too thin!!!!! Thankfully, I have not renewed my lease and will be leaving soon!

Let me just say, that I have had on two occassions, this morning being the second, a problem with the hot water. The first time I had a problem it was addressed quickly. I don't doubt that this time it will also be addressed quickly.

Just a fact for you, another building in the area was affected by the power outage as I have a friend who lives there and we had to walk up 5 flights of stairs because the elevators stalled out due to the surge from the power outage problem.

Yeah, you think that the leasing office would at least send out a letter letting the residents know that the property manager has left! Now everything takes twice as long to get answered and then when it does, they get all the information mixed up! This place is going down the tubes!!!!!

they do need a good building manager; the "housekeeping" is not up to par for a "luxury" complex - hope they can get good management team on board and ensure the building is kept up to standards.....rents are high, and should demand a high standard...we'll see

she's the last I'll miss. management is helpful?! no kidding, just walk in the leasing office and you'll find frustrating tenants hopelessly want to get their problems solved.

where do you recommend living? I've searched all over and this place HAD some of the best ratings. I have been there. I saw the stains on the carpet and other signs of trash contamination. How full is the Metro Shuttle? It is crucial that I get to the Metro on time every time! How bad is it?
As for some of the other comments: Well, C'mon now, you can't be a spoiled brat! Do you expect someone to stand there and refill the creamers and cocoa continuously? Maybe the tennants should start policing eachother and being rude, gluttonous, and messy!!
