If all you want is a good looking place to live, then this is the place. But I was fooled by its good looks and have had probelems with hot water( multipal times), mud in water, drafty windows( probelm still not resolved), hardwood floor, door knob, bad attitude from the management..etc. This place has its advantages but not worth the high price I am paying.

You seem to be really unhappy so move when your lease is up. As a residnet who lives here I would prefer that only positve people with good karma be my neighbors not haters.

can't believe you are having so many problems.....I've been at Halstead since 5/07 and other than the one-time hot water issue, no problems....can't believe your "bad attitude" experience with staff....they are pleasant and bend over backwards to help resolve issues; perhaps you are a bit too "picky" - don't think you'll find another place as nice and with such good management....good luck to you!
