I have lived here since May of 07 and I plan to renew. My experience this past year has been wonderful, and what I have found is Halstead has a very pretty face and it is still the perfect place. There were a few hot water problems but all have been resolved, and there have been no problems for a long time now. Other than the hot water, the only problem I have had is with my balcony door, I thought that it was drafy but, when maintence came by to take of it, I learned that I had not closed the door all the way.
I am not a person who finds it nesessary to enteract with the buildings staff on a daily basis as I am a busy professional who does not have time to do so, however whenever I have had the occassion to contact the office I have always been treated with sincere warmth and respect. Additionally, I have never encounted "apartment people" to be so thoughtful. Recently, I expereiced an illness and the managment office sent me flowers to brighten up my day...this simple act of kindness was so unexpected and I never expected from people who are paid to collect my rent. Thank you to those who make living at Halstead worth it. You have made it much more than a pretty building...you have made it a home for me. I appreciate you and want you to know that.

My husband and I are thinking about renting here, how is the visitor parking, would you say that it is ample?
