IF YOU ARE THINKING OF MOVING HERE, STOP,AND GET AWAY FAST!!!!! Seriously, all these reviews (except the obviously fake favorable reviews) are true! Maintenance is "slow," though a new word needs to be used, since I consider "slow" to be a few days, whereas these guys would take WEEKS to respond, and only after an onslaught of calls. The area is unsafe. The apartments are falling apart and there are roaches, mice, and bugs everywhere. Noisy environment, and some apartments have at least 10 people living in them.
And last but definately not least, the staff is unbelievably rude and incompetent. I have never been treated that unprofessionally by ANYONE. Patricia is the worst of all. I am a well educated, professional, slow to anger kind of person, but the things she said to me and the way I was treated are enough to put any reasonable person over the edge. Seriously, go live homeless under a bridge somewhere before moving into that sty!

my husband and i were residents for 16 months at this property,..from the first week we moved in we were told they were working on making the property have more curb appeal...we thought okay they do look run down but if they are in process of making it look better that would be okay...we were in hurry to find a place since i had just relocated from texas and had a uhaul full of furniture and so happen it was easy to get an apt fast here....hindsight i see why....upon moving in we were astonished at the amount of roaches....i have never seen an apt building so full of roaches ....the extermination that they used ...the roaches just sucked that up and continue to breed....i finally got some spray from texas shipped to me that i knew would work...it did i got rid of all my roaches and 2 of the neighbors in my building including the maintenance supervisor at that time saidu i got rid of theres as well at least for a while....then about 5 months into the lease we begin to have mice...i thought okay one or two mice maybe some neighbors in the building not keeping clean house....noooooooooooo....everyone in the property were telling me they have been dealing witht these mice for over 2 yrs unfortunately most of them not able to move due to their financial situations....we were constantly complaining to stepahnie and patricia for the period of the entire lease of 12 months ....nothing was ever done to address the problem other than sending her exterminator in who did tell us the mice were so thick in the walls of these buildings that nothing short of tenting the entire property would do any goood, well of course stepahanie the manager basicially lied to us and told us we were the only ones complaining of mice ....which was complete lie...everyone in my building and 6 other buildings i checked with residents all had same response about mice and roaches.I finally towards the last months of the lease contacted the stephanie and told her due to my health issues and medical problems which we owed many medical bills and also i am taking care financially of my mother in texas and my husbands mother in egypt and couldnt afford at this time to move...she offered to give us another unit...we went to look at it before it was made ready ...it was 4 buildings down from ours...surprise there was mice droppings so thick in the apt we were shocked as stepahnie had continually told us we were the only ones who had mice..so
we chose not to let her move us to this apt....why would we > at that point i had had it with the rudeness of both stephanie and patricia i called the health dept and the health inspector/code officer came and looked over the apt with stephanie in tow..well stephanie acted shocked in front of this code officer ..as if this was the first time she had heard of this problem...he ordered them to clear this problem asap.at that time they came in and plugged mice holes with steel wool which mice are not suppose to be able to chew thru....hahah hahahah these mice were relentlessssss..
they chew thru the wool and made their way thru all the plugged holes...my husband couldnt get any sleep for many months which affected his job performance as we were up all nite cathing the mice 3-5 a nite in glue traps not to mention the amount of money we were spending on traps as patricia alwys said they had ran out of traps and couldnt provide them .....well if i am the only one with mice and i am buying my own traps how do they run out all the time???hmmmmmm...i wonder ....after reporting them to health dept stepanie and patricia both begin to be very very very hostile and more rude than they were in past months...they were mad because i reported this...right before the lease was up in jan of 07 stephanie came in my apt and told me and my husband both she was sick of these complaints and we could just get out..she gave us two week notice to move....our lease wasnt even finished...we both told her we couldnt afford at that time to pay movers and transfer fees and new deposits as we also have a pet we have to pay deposit and monthly rent for....i then called our attorney and found out we didnt have to move out due to the reason she provided...we always paid our rent on or before the due date ..which most ppl were not doing.....so we told her we were gonna stay till we got our tax refund back so she put us on month to month lease until we got our refund in last of may and found apt to move in on june 7. i would like to add i am handicapped and she refused to provide me a handicap space even though i have a parking permit for handicap. when we went in to tell her we were moving in june stephanie told us both she didnt care if we left today....and she was sorry she had ever leased to us because we complained too much....hahhahhahah like we were the only ones complaining ..the day we were moving out all the neighbors that were passing by were like saying and congratulating us that we were lucky enough to move out.....they all said they were sick of stephanie and patricia and their lack of professionalism as well as their rudness ...and they were sorry they have to live in these implorable conditions...i am sorrry for anyone who has to continue to live there...i think the whole property should be condemed for mice and roaches ...especially the mice...i have pictures of my stove top which they came thru every nite and mice droppings every morning all over the stove ...we would not even cook there or eat in our apt ....before moving out the month before also had to take my dog and put her on antibiotics due to one of the mice in the trap biting her...she is 14 yrs old and shouldnt have had to endure this either.....stephanie's repsonse to that incident was i dont beleive that at all even after i showed her the vet bill.....so see in closing ....even this apt community is even fit for my dog to live in...i will post pics if i can download them..i have also contacted the new management company and will send these pics along to them and do intend to file suit with our attorney to prove a point that ppl shouldnt have to live like this....and hopefully this will help some of the remaining tenants if i can get stephanie and patricia out of there i think things might improve to some level for maintanence...dont even get me started about that problem everything u ask for to be fixed is never done..even without air conditioning for the month of may...patricia's response to this was"well this isnt an emergency since the temp outside was only in the 70's...just open your windows...thats all i will say......except for thnk God we got out before we were bitten by these mice....i stayed sick with my auto immune disease the entire time we lived there from walking on mice urine stained carpet....my health improved considerably since being in a cleaner environment....we now live in tower 2000 ...i highly reccomend this community.....if u can move ...do so .....good luck to all tennants who remain at hampton court...i will be fighting for you guys in court....and by the way i was also told i would be fined 75 dollars a day if i didnt remove a small cooler of my bacolny ,,,only allowed patio furn ..have pics of all the disgusting balconies there with recliners and dining room tables and tons of bikes when u were to have only 2 bikes if any.....hahhahha just one more discrimination we endured after we called health dept .......pics comming as soon as this site will post them .....keep checking back for them....
