Hillwood at Mark Center

Really a disaster. Hellwood is certainly an appropriate name.

I lived in Hillwood for 2 excruciating years. I would have loved to have left after the first, unfortunately I could not afford to move at the time.
Highlights are too many to mention, but they included... infinite bratty, careless neighborhood kids with little parental care, multiple instances of vandalism against my vehicle, mice crawling through the gaping holes in the floor, roaches, a bathroom that just wouldn't come clean, a dishwasher that overflowed so much I couldn't use it, and the smell of gas in my apt, among many others.
Maintenance was relatively responsive and the neighborhood looked pleasant, but the management is fighting a fight against a decline I don't think they can win. The appearance of the neighborhood is a trick. There is plenty of crime and the notices left on my doorstep concerning home invasions and rapes were certainly not pleasant.
As far as the greater neighborhood goes, there is a shopping center with Starbucks and Giant, but that's about it. You have to drive everywhere. If you're a younger single person, I would say this is an awful choice. If you have ten kids, are thrice divorced and under age 25, and find work not to your liking, this is prime real estate. I suggest you check it out!
P.S., don?t forget to say hi to the terrorists. They?re the ones with sheets covering all their windows from prying eyes.
