Hillwood was just ok, there's definitely better out there. I had to live my life around the rental office hours in order to get anything accomplished with them or to get a damn guest parking sticker. What business doesn't open til 10 and then closes at 6.

The worst part was that they had some excuse to come into my home when I wasn't there at least twice a month, if not more. I came home once and found that someone had been in my apartment while I was gone WITHOUT my prior notice. I wonder how often that happened.

They also seemed to price apartments pretty arbitrarily. I paid $850 for a 1 BR 700 sq ft, but I heard about people paying up to $950 for the same unit. They also tried to tell me they were going to raise my rent to $975 if I didn't sign another year's lease, in which case they'd only raise my rent by $50. Whatever, thank god I'm out of there.

Oh, and when there were reports of assaults and other crimes, not only did the office staff have NO details but I never noticed any kind of increased security.
