I've lived at Hillwood for five months now, and have soon discovered that your maintenance concerns are not a concern of management. The maintenance guys told me they change our filters twice a year, but they say they do not inspect our gas heaters. I'm told these heaters have been in here six years, and have not had a safety inspection to date. WOW!!! I feel safe...NOT!! I'm getting ready to call a private contractor myself, to come inspect the gas system for safety, for piece of mind. In addition to that lack of safety, a few months ago I came home from work to find out that the building I live in was due to have it's annual "pest contol" chemical done in each apartment. There was NEVER a note on my door warning me to properly secure my cat for safety. When I asked the office why they didn't notify me, they were so rude, claiming they put a note on my door, and said the note must have fallen off. Dahhh, fallen to where. None of my neighbors had a note either. That alone is why I'll move when my lease is up. If I could, I'd move tomorrow.
