Downhill All The Way

I have lived here over two years. I didn't think that it would deteriorate any more than it had before I resigned my lease, but it has. I have noisy new neighbors (lots of surround sound booming noises). The same neighbors have taken to keeping trash on their balcony (the complex management doesn't seem to notice). People with loud unrulely children thundering up and down the stairs and making lots of noise at all hours. People wandering around the complex late at night laughing and talking loudly. Car alarms that people don't bother to respond to. Trash compactors that new residents don't seem to know how to use or choose not to use properly. Litter on the grounds. People without parking stickers taking up resident parking spaces. People with illegal pets that the complex doesn't seem to notice. The capper is a hearty bug problem that didn't exist until the new people with the loud children moved in. Add to this rumors that the shuttle that serves the ungated apartment complexes is going to also service gated Millbrook--the overcrowded shuttle service be worse than it is now. while the drivers have been more predictable since JBG bought the complexes- the contracted shuttle service provider-- Reston Limosine is awful.
I don't think it is going to get any better. As much as I hate moving, I don't think I am going to lease again here. I know that I can't recommend living here to anyone.
