Still OK but don't know what the future will hold

Hunting Towers (and Hunting Terrace) sits in the middle of the construction zone for the new Woodrow Wilson Bridge. One Tower building and three Terrace buildings will be demolished shortly. There are a number of problems associated with the construction ranging from noise to fear of asbestos contamination. Some apartments and buildings are affected more than others (at least at this point - October 2002).
Tenants are divided as to whether the rents are excessive since we are in a construction zone or are fair. I suspect that this varies with the extent to which a particular apartment has been affected and may change as construction picks up.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)owns the buildings at this time.
Rents have recently been reduced and are currently capped due to the construction and the efforts of the tenants' association.
