I have been living here in the complex now for over Ten years and currently intend on renewing my lease again this year. I moved here from South Carolina and am not one of the staff and have no connections with anyone here. I am a US Government employee. The negative comments here are probably written by immature people who have little experience with rentals. I have lived in the Town House area and now reside in the building 1 High Rise on the second floor. Yes, I agree sometimes you have to wait 30 seconds for an elevator, and yes if you sit right next to a window you can feel a small draft on a bitter cold and windy day. The reality is that the staff here is very responsive. Any problem in your apartment, no matter how small, is usually fixed the same day by competent maintenance staff. The building itself is very well maintained and clean, and there is plentiful free underground parking. The free 24 hour gym is well equipped with treadmills and weights and the heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room are nice perks. There is also a free shuttle to Huntington Metro which is right down the street. The rent is also very reasonable for this area (believe me I have compared over the past Ten years to stay abreast $$) and I feel it is a great bargain for the quality of life here in the DC area.
